How can I get rid of the log-in screen when I boot my XP Pro tower?

I have a laptop with XP Media Edition, and I was easily able to adjust my computer to boot without the log-in prompt or screen. I'm trying to format my boyfriend's Dell so that he doesn't have the prompt to sign in when he boots. Previously, he had the XP log-in screen come up and he was able to get rid of that, but now the traditional Windows NT window prompts him to sign in instead. By the looks of things, we are not able to get rid of the sign in window. Is it possible with XP Pro to boot the computer and go straight to desktop without needing to sign in?

Update:

I've accessed the Control Panel and tried to change it there, to no avail. Thanks for the general advice though.

Update 2:

That's just it. He doesn't have a password and he is the only user on the tower. It shouldn't prompt him, but it does. Is it because it's XP Pro?

If there's only 1 account on the computer, and there's no password for it, you won't see the login screen.
