Daughter having abdominal pains - been seen by doctor 5 times?

Has been having pains since Christmas Eve. Suddenly felt weak,2 hours later ab-do pains left side.Next day pains worse anywhere in tummy. Boxing day saw out of hours gp (Virus/urine infection) gave Trimethoprim.Pain moving to right side and round back. Had bloods done...after high temp and urine infect forced us to go back out of hours.Blood ok,Kidney function normal no arthritis, not anaemic, not showing infection anywhere or inflammation in body. Does have Poly-cystic ovaries and is having ultrasound this friday to check that and kidneys etc. No. Now got pains in lower ribs, hips and big toes! Has fast heartbeat ,Tired all time and tearful moments.Occasional ache in throat glands 9prone to viral tonsillitis, painful face bones and bottom cheek.Earache off and on for few months no virus for 3 months.

Can anyone help us we are very worried.Daughter is almost 20 also weight gain but not eating more than usual and plenty of exercise.

Update:

The cysts were found some years ago after a urine infection when she was young left her with weak bladder. Ultrasound found she wasn't emptying bladder fully and then they found the cysts. She takes Flavoxate for irritable bladder possibly caused by Polycystic ovaries. Last ultrasound revealed big cyst gone but left with several little ones on left ovary

Have they done an ultrasound on her kidneys and pushed dye through her ureters to make sure she doesn't have a kidney stone blockage? I had similar issues and turned out to have a kidney stone.

I agree with ejabarnes it's PCOS.

Doctors don't know allot about PCOS and sometimes it doesn't show up on blood tests.

It took me forever to be diagnosed with it i'm 21 now but took me 3 years.

I got weight gain and pains etc the doctors said it was due to lack of exercise which was complete bull.

If she has PCOS which sounds liek she does especially with having cysts on ovaries then make sure you see an eendocrinologist because doctors really don't know what they are on about when it comes to PCOS.

I don't understand what you have written..

Has she had an ultra sound to check for PCOS? or is she having that friday?

Anyway it sounds like PCOS which is linked with Hypothyroidism which causes fatigue, irregular heart beat, depression and weight gain.

PCOS can cause pains depending on how swollen or how many cysts the ovaries have.

If she has PCOS see an endocrinologist :)

Wait to see what the scan comes up with. it could be that her body is just changing. if her bloods are fine then i,m sure it would be okay as if there was anything wrong it would have come back shown in her bloods. And as for the weight gain if she is not as mobile as before then that can cause weight gain. Hope everything goes well.
