Doors frozen shut on my car?

Well I live in Minnesota and it's been about 30 below the past 3 days and my car has been sitting outside and I went to get something out of it tonight and all four doors wont budge. They're frozen shut and I don't know how to get in. There is no visible ice where the door cracks are. Any help appreciated!

Update:

Using a hair dryer is not practical as my car is in the middle of a parking lot.

I can't force the door open because all I have to grab is the handle and I can feel it pulling the outer panel of the car out so I'm not going to force that any more.

    Hi

I am canadian and what I do is put Vaseline on in the fall. But for now use WD40 on the passenger door. You don`t want to mess up the drivers door. When you get it open put the Vaseline to it. US army made WD40----------Water Displacement 40th try

Yes you do have a problem. Being from northern Canada I can give you a couple of tips that may help. Providing it is the rubber door seals that are froze to the door opening the best thing to do is have it towed to a warm shop and get it thawed out and dried out. That will get you in without permanent damage to the door seals. Now to prevent it from happening again. Go to a GM store and get a bottle of Silicone Emulsion the part number is 10953014. The bottle comes with applicator. Go around the door seals with it and that will cure your problems. Don't worry if it looks like a white sloppy mess when you are finished. The seals will absorb it and the seals will last for ever.

The same thing happens to my car doors any time it drops below freezing. I just have to try my hardest to open it, and it eventually gives. WHATEVER you do do NOT pour water or any other liquid on the door as it can cause the glass to crack due to the rapid temperature change that would cause.

Once you get it open I have heard that applying a little oil to the seal will help to prevent it from freezing shut as the oil has a much higher freezing point than water does.

The only thing I can say is a hair dryer and LOTS of patience. I feel so bad that you're stuck in that freezing cold weather! I'm sure there's gonna be lots of strays that don't make it through this cold snap :( Good luck!

Well, since you can't use a hair dryer I'd say take something pointy and carefully chip away any ice that may be inside it. If there's no ice you can try to pry it open a little. Be gentle with it. You can try a de-icer spray as well or just wait it out.

Just use your fist and hit around the edges(top, bottom, sides) of the door. Usually it freezes on the bottom of the door.

    UPDATE:

The problem about hot water is that, an hour later you'll be right back where you started, except worse(more frozen water).

lubricate the weather stripping with PAM (cooking spray) and check the latches/hinges are working properly.

If it is a frozen mechanism at latch not moving, use lock ease graphited lock fluid in key hole and spray on latches/springs using the straw extension inserted into nozzle.

If it still doesn't open, you probably have a whole lot of moisture in side the panels or the door is out of adjustement enough to affect the door from opening w hen below zero temperatures.

Get something that holds water and pour hot water on the door. End of story. People will say..."but it will freeze"...pffft, it's already frozen! Ice(frozen water) is cured with hot/warm water(not frozen hot water).

Once it's open, all the suggestions DO help, You can spray WD40, Silicone spray, Vaseline, and Honda dealer's have a silicone cream in a toothpaste like tube to rub on the door seal's. But for right now, just get a gallon or 2 of hot water already!
