What type of answer constitutes being reported to Yahoo?
OK, so I was trying to be funny. Someone had a question about buying a goat and I answered: "Are you kiding?"
I was reported to Yahoo.
As some of us know, a "kid" is a baby goat. It was a joke.
Why is Yahoo wasting its time with emails etc. after someone compalins about such a meek answer - I have seen some disgusting answers and I don't complain.
I was just KIDDING AROUND
.... thanks folks; yes I can see that I was being a clown and should have had more respect for the person's question... but they could have just given me a thumbs down ??
not reported me for a "violation" of rules... anyway, guess it's good that we all have different views...
that's what makes the world go round
:-)

well the idea is really to answer and you didn't so much ...you asked a question. It wasn't a big deal and you are right about getting uncompassionate and rude answers on this site.
Really though people spend a lot of time and thought in answering and really deserve in return a polite and accurate as possible answer.
people really should have let it go but it would be better for all of us if every one incorporated alittle joking in an answer that actually helps this is yahoo answers not yahoo laughs and jabs the intent is to really help people and although innocent those kinds of responses to get points and they really aren't the idea sorry it spiraled out of controll but you can get flagged i believe for asking another question and offering no real help .good luck and i hope you can still get gratifying results from this site.

It doesn't matter if you were kidding around. It's cute, and I think "Are you kidding" was funny and would have been great on a different type of forum. But that wasn't an answer to the question. So it was a violation. If the asker was serious, your answer wasn't helpful. It's unfortunate, but sometimes answers are important to people.

You violated the guidelines. You did not supply an answer that addressed the question. Kidding around is not what this site is about.
Yahoo's site so Yahoos rules.

Nope. by no skill seen that. appropriate right here i'm blockading away like there isn't any the subsequent day and that i by no skill theory to block the asker of the query. Now that i think of of of it in straight forward terms approximately each and each query i'm getting reported on is asked by utilising somebody diverse than a splash. Hmmmmm......

I'm with you...I asked how many people feed their animals people food and my question was deleted because I violated the community guidelines!?!?
I have since seen questions regarding sex using inappropriate words and the list goes on....UGH!
PS~ I liked your answer...that's cute :)
