This week one of our local grocery stores has Bertolli Oil on half price.

I use it all the time. However, when I bought it I noticed a sediment in the bottom of the plastic bottle. As the best before date was 2011 SE 30, I thought it should be OK.

However, when comparing the bottles I purchased with the half of bottle still left at home, I noticed the new bottles were "cloudy." I asked at the store and was told - yes, the bottles on sale were kept below 7 degrees so is cloudy, but will clear when you take it home (not so).

The 2 new bottles are still cloudy.

I tried to find a current site for Bertolli and filled out two customer enquiry forms - which were returned by email as undeliverable. I phoned Bertolli twice (Canada number) and went through the menu items and was cut off when I tried to complete the call. I sent another email to Bertolli and have not received a reply.

SO, my question is: is this safe to use? I don't want to open the bottles and smell the oil, as then won't be able to take it back to the store.

With so many serious issues in the world to-day I hate to worry over this: but most of the larger issues in the world I can't do much about - but can do something about this small problem. Thanks for your time

We are advised to quickly take an Aspirin if experiencing a Stroke etc. But I just put two different brands of coated Aspirin in a glass of hot water, pop, soapy water etc., and the coating still hasn't melted. How is the Aspirin supposed to work quickly if the coating doesn't melt quickly. My question therefore is

Once swallowed, how long does it take for the coating to melt and the Aspirin to enter our blood supply?

Beets: After they are boiled, how many days can I keep them in the fridge before using up? I cooked some last week and now wondering if I should make them into soup or throw them out. Thanks !

A family member returned from a trip to Peru and wants to send good used clothing to the guides there... but on checking Canada Post web site, we are not allowed to. Why not? Anyone know?

I used to own a cassette tape called The Language of Letting Go, by Melody Beattie, where there are 3 "visual meditations" read on each side of the tape.... things like imagining you are floating down a river on a raft, etc. etc. I have either lost it or loaned it to someone and not received it back. Does anyone have a copy I could purchase?

I am typing a list of dates, with numbers, on Word to print on business card Avery labels. I cannot use "tab" on the labels setting, only the space bar between columns. I have tried every font I have and the numbers in the columns (dates) just do not line up - any suggestions welcome. They look horrible as uneven.

I am in Canada. I paid $75 for someone to remove spyware/malware from my computer over the phone - spent 45 minutes at it, paid, but still have the same malware. I use F-Secure, which is free through my internet provider, Cogeco. I am scared to download other spyware removal etc. in case I "screw something up." Hi, I am going into hospital and want to buy a cd of classical music to listen to. I dont know too much about classical music... I would like some soothing music with no sudden crash, bangs, cymbols, trumpets etc.

Can anyone please recommend a cd of classical music that is all "soft" and no extra loud pieces all the way through... hope I have explained this properly ! Thanks

For last year still getting these phone calls from USA.

Of course, get them when I am sleeping; am ill; am busy.

They just won't stop.

I found a web site full of complaints about this particular number.. and have tried some of the suggested solutions but to no avail.

I have even thought of changing my phone number, which I have had for 40 years; but why should I.

Why this company is phoning Ontario in the first place is beyond me: do they get paid per phone call ??
