"Where were you when . . . "?

Question

MSNBC is running a promo about the upcoming inauguration of BO. The overly dramatic t.v. spot claims, "Years from now, Americans will ask, 'Where were you when Barack Obama was inaugurated?'"

I find this fascinating, to compare the inauguration of this con man to a world-shattering event that will go down in infamy.

People remember where they were when Pearl Harbor was bombed or when Roosevelt died or when Kennedy was killed or when the Challenger exploded or when Princess Diana died and or when the Twin Towers came down. 

But no one remembers, save for the immediate family of the president himself, where they were during any one inauguration, unless of course they were actually at the inauguration.

While I find the notion that the details of BO's inauguration are something that the world will sear into its collective brain, I do love the fact that it is being credited with the potential to have the same impact as an enormous world tragedy, which of course it is.

In ten or twenty years, do you think you will remember where you were and what you were doing on the day BO is crowned?

Its just another way of the media playing on people but the sad thing is that there will be people crying and saying what a wonderful thing it was to have been alive when BO became pres, I just wonder if they will be like this when the golden boy falls flat on his face because he is clueless on what he is doing up there.

I have a hunch that we will remember this event, and the next 4 years as one of the greatest events that ever happened in the USA.
9/11 was the wake up call, but we didn't wake up as we should have.  Ever since then our lives has changed until we almost live in a prison to keep ourselves safe from terrorists.  We are also under attack from God and our natural disasters are worse than ever before.  Our Govt. has been incapable of repairing the damage done by Katrina, let alone the others.  
We have elected Govt. Representatives without the guidance of God and as a nation in general do not want God involved in our affairs.

God has taken his hand off of the greatest Union that the world has ever seen, and we are on the way down.  We have politicians of OUR choice that are incapable of running this country and corruption in our Govt. is barely surpassed by some 3rd world countries, and we can not understand why.  
This is just another pivotal time marker in the down fall of the USA and I am sorry to see it happen.   
Ask this question around August of 2009 and see how it goes..
