A neighbor's behavior..?

A "neighbor" is often outside his home when I come and go and I just surprised him at 9 PM at night doing some yard work right next to my fence at a spot that also happens to be where I leave the screen door open. Is he a good samaritan? A nosy jerk? A pervert? How do you decide these things? And when does it become a real problem?

Well he has every right to be outside his house doing yard work at 9pm even if it's near a door of yours. Keep your windows shut if you feel strange towards him. So far he hasn't done anything wrong.

However your gut is always speaking to you and your have some strange instinct about him. Just be careful. Say hello and continue on your way. Don't engage in too much conversation with this person.

Well based on what you said. I may think he is a good samaritan. The first thing you should do is make friends with him. Be friendly! as they say " You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover" So get to know him more by being friendly. By just simply talking to him. Or if you want since he is only your neighbor and your houses are just a few yards away. Then invite him for a cup of coffee. Then when you know what he really is then you will have to think on what you are going to do next. Okay. So I hope I have answered your question! Or even so I hope I helped you answer your own question. By the way if you have more questions to ask me or even your friends that needs answers just email me here: sabrina721_manansala@yahoo.com

So just email me if you have a comment, problem, question, suggestion or even if you just have something to say. I promise I would help me you in the best of my abilities. I am sabrina by the way. Thank you!

Time will tell what he is really up to. Neighbors can be very upsetting. I have neighbor just below me and she is an aggressive and ambitious woman who has no empathy and understanding for anybody else but herself. She finds no problem in hammering at midnight, waking up the whole house.

Did you surprise him? or did he surprise you? He probably thinks the same thing about you. It is a free country - he is allowed to be outside of his house in his yard whenever he wants.

hmm maybe just keep observing him for a short while (and yes, there is a difference between stalking and observing lol)

if he keeps doing things like this then maybe you should go knock on his door and have a word to him.

if he stilll persists with this behavior then take it to the police.

Suggestion: Don't leave your doors open.

It becomes a problem if you are uncomfortable. It becomes a legal issue if he's trespassing on your property, or if he's stalking you.

My neighbour was very insulting to my wife for no apparent reason. Then all of a sudden it stopped, just like that.

Amazing what a lump of 4x2 can do to make your life more pleasant....

What do those screens actually protect you from?, I've always wondered, is it insects?. It certainly can't be serial killers.

.Probably just lonely looking for conversation. Keep a gun loaded though.

just keep an eye on him... and see how he interacts with others to assess whether he is a freak or not
