Why is it a high profile holy rollers can be forgiven for any sin?

ANYONE can be forgiven of any sin, not just what you might think of as "holy rollers"; even those whom you think of as "pond scum" or those whom you think of "average Joe" can be forgiven.

Anyone who repents can and will be forgiven by God. Repentance is not simply saying, "I'm sorry, please forgive me" with no change in the person's character and behavior. You don't "repent" and continue in life as you always have. There is a change in the person and he/she forsakes the sinful way they lived before; and by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit, they conduct their lives differently and they hate the sin they once participated in.

Anyone who so-called "repents" but are not a changed person are not forgiven, no matter how much they may say or think they are.

Forgiveness is not a license to sin. Anyone who thinks it is, are not forgiven no matter how much they think they are.

Good question. My guess is that those high profile holy rollers tend to "cover each others rear ends". But, yet when the rest of us do something that is "against their ways" we catch holy hell for our "wrong doings". Those turkeys are no better than the rest of us. They just try to ride a higher horse.

We're not Holy rollers...We just believe in a God who can! And you can be forgiven as well if you would just come to Jesus!

This is utterly nonsense! Why do you comment on things that you obviously know absolutely nothing about? It only makes YOU look silly!

ANY body can be forgiven of ANY sin if they confess their sins before God and repent (quit doing it)!

So, what's YOUR excuse?
