Depends on how much of a investment you want to make. Also depends on what medium you want to shoot in.
If your in the consumer price ($600 to 1k) range look at the Canon HV30 and HF11
If your going to step up in the prosumer price range (2k to 6k) go with the Panasonic family. such as the legendary DVX-100 (SD) the HVX-200 (HD DVC-Pro) and the newer HMC-150 (AVCHD)
And of course in the 9k-10k range you should go with a Sony EX1 or Sony EX3.
But the MAIN thing is not the camera itself, it's how you light your shots and how you operate the camera. Also don't forget budgeting for decent mics for picking up clean audio.
