Driving to Culiacan, Sinaloa Mexico?
I was thinking of taking a drive down there. Does anybody know that in light of all the problems down there, is it too dangeroud to drive downt there? I've been hearing about drug related violence and also kidnappings. Are those things common? Let me know. Thank you.
Yeah, I am going alone.

Its safe as long as you stay on the toll rode don't be afraid toll rodes are protected by the government stay away from the "libre" roads there you could get in trouble with "bajadores" people who want to steal from you or kid nap you.

The safest bet would be to drive during the day and stay on the toll roads DO NOT go on the "libre" roads (free roads) as they are usually unpatrolled and offer little to no assistance to you in case of any problems. I also suggest auto insurance with the perks (legal assistance and roadside)
