2012 Do you think (or hope) than those stupid end of the world questions will stop on Dec 22, 2012?

I think they will just set a new date. I remember end of the world predictions since I was in primary school.

The Mayan calendar comes to an end Dec. 21, 2012. There is no mention that the world will end at that time, only that this date is an end to an era. This is a highly debated question because others have predicted the end of the world at this date. This significance of this date in astrological terms means that we will be directly in the path of the center of the Milk Way at 27 degrees, 2 minutes of Sagittarius.

It could mean that now we are leaving the age of Pisces and moving into the age of Aquarius.

Nostradamus in his writings stated that there would be life until 2336 per his last quatrain.

People will just find some other fantastical thing to worry and gossip about. It will go on untill the world actually ends.

Ya they'll stop for another couple of decades at least. But they won't go away I mean I have this friend who after going through a traumatic period in her life turned "Born Again Christian". These guys reckon they can count back in time to "Adam and Eve" and the day after when God rested and that they can prove it was a Sunday. I mean when you are dealing with that level of "Nut" intensity you are always going to get some prediction. A guy I know in Spain has actually put aluminium sheeting all around his son's bedroom so as to make sure that his son will survive this Apocalypse

One to watch out for is the one about the Popes. An Irish Monk predicted that the next Pope will be called Peter and he will be the last Pope.

Well if it's true and we all do die, (which I doubt) then you won't have to worry about the "stupid" questions anymore.

Some people believe it will end, and they have "A LOT" of evidence to back this claim up, not just religious facts but scientific facts as well.

So, when it's the 21st of December 2012, we shall see if they're indeed wrong, or are correct.

haha yes they will stop. people always want something to believe in and are immediately captured and interested by over dramatically presented scientific "evidence". i actually also saw someone say that 2012 is not the year for death but the year "humans enter the 5th dimension" ?????????? i mean ok...

i really hope people start to realize that the world isnt gonna end on december 22, i mean, so many people have named different dates, and swear that the world is gonna end, and it never does.

Yes I do, but not because the world will have ended.

Either way, if I doesn't happen or if it does, the questions will stop.
