The "straw" was a catheter inserted in your urethra. A circumcision does not normally require a catheter.

If you do not have any slack skin on your penis shaft that you can slide back and forth on the shaft, you are circumcised. If you can slide your skin, but not a whole lot, then you may or may not be circumcised.

Looking at your penis, you should see normal outside skin from your abdomen towards your glans (the head of the penis). At some point, that skin should change to a pinker skin that is your inner foreskin. The inner foreskin is the skin closest to your glans. If where your outer skin and your inner foreskin meet looks like scar tissue, then you are circumcised. The link below shows variations of tight circumcisions up to extra-long foreskins. The pics for CI-1 thru CI-3 are all circumcised, as is CI-4 erect.

You should ask your parents about your operations, including if you were circumcised. You will need this medical information in the future, so might as well ask now.

It sounds to me as though you had surgery for hypospadias. This is a very minor birth defect (the most common for all births), and it means that the urinary meatus (pee hole) is located on the bottom of the penis rather than at the tip (distal aspect).

Boys born with hypospadias are usually not circumcised at birth, as tissue from the foreskin is used in the operation to repair this condition.

Circmcised - you will have a scar going all the way around your penis just about 3/8 inch from the edge of the penis head.

Hard to tell, a couple of answerer's are right when they say ask your parents - they will know.

I haven't been done, but my foreskin barely covers the glans when flaccid, and fully retracts when I'm erect.

    Hope this helps

That should, of course, read:- a few of answerer's gave the suggestion to ask your parents.

could be circumcized. for anyone reading, males i mean, circumcision is a poor thing to have done. First it takes away some of the sensitivity, (pleasure). Second it's not necessary, Third they can accidentally cut some of your penis off and make it short, shorter, Fourth sometmes they cut off too much foreskin and it HURTS when you get hard. So why the heck do people get it? Dumb...

Ask your parents. They will also be able to tell you why(or why not). Nothing to be embarrassed about.
