My chemical peel isn't peeling...?
I got a chemical peel yesterday afternoon and there has been no peeling.
The dermo said that my face would be very flaky, but it is just very dry, very stiff, and very pink.
The dermo only left it on for under a minute though because it was causing me so much pain. She said that sometimes the skin has to build up a bit of immunity until the mask can be left on for the entire 3 minutes, but my face should still flake.
I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else before or what someone might know.
Thanks!

I had a chemical peel done about a year and a half ago at my dermatologist for acne and it took about 2-3 days before it started to peel. The first day, my face looked all red, but once I took a shower, it started to turn into a big scab. By the third day, my face looked like a big scab. Then, on the fourth day it began to peel and was gone by the next morning. Just take a lot of hot showers, allowing the water to loosen the scab. Just don't pick! It'll leave scars I heard. I just let the water remove it for me. But my face looked and felt amazing after!
