My one year old and milk...?

My son is now one, well, almost 13 months. He has always eaten cheese and yogurt. Of course, recently we switched to cows milk vit D when he was 12 months. We eased him into the milk by only giving half milk and half formula, and gradulally went to milk. He did really well for a long time. Recently, he began spitting up after milk after drinking. We gave him ice cream tonight and he spit up 20 minutes after. There is not a history of intolerance anywhere on either side of his family. What is going on?

Definitely lactose intolerance.. It doesn't have to come from anyone in the family! The same thing happened to me when I was a baby and no one thought anything of it until later on when I started getting sick everytime I ate or drank dairy ate like age 6 I think it was?

Take him to the pediatrician (sp?) and they have pills and tasteless powders and stuff to help :)
