How do i become an otaku?

Anyways, If you attend a large highschool that allows student-created clubs, find out about starting an anime club!

My school did, and it costed nothing to set up! All the anime was provided by the members, we voted which we wanted to watch, then we watched it on the TV in the japanese class.

First off, calling yourself otaku isn't a very good idea. In Japan it's generally used as an insult, it's kind of an equivalent to 'geek' or 'nerd' in America.

But, if you want to be an 'otaku,' just watch a lot of anime and, well, obsess over it, buy merch, love the characters and have pride in your obsession.
