Looking for a recipe keeper?

Any advice on such an item would be appreciated. I want to keep my recipes in a book. I have them on index cards, but am looking for sleeved pages that I can insert each of the cards. Even if I have to go the 'photo album' pages, where can I find smaller pages, because I don't want to use a huge book...just something small-ish, kitchen sized. I am sick of having to dig through the index card box every time I need to get a recipe out. Thanks to all answers. Points for best!

Why not just keep them on USB jump drives or Memory Cards (think: SD camera memory cards) and then use a digital photo frame to view them on?? Much better than paper, and you can print, edit, etc from the USB port on your computer.... Just make sure that you reassign the "recipes" to JPG format so that you can view them on a digital picture frame.....Enjoy.......

Just a thought of how to keep them 'more' available as time goes by....

I really like Christopher K's idea for using a digital frame. They have some really nice ones at great prices at DigitalFrameHQ.com http://www.digitalframehq.com/ But if you really want to stick with the photo album idea, this one from StorePhotos.com http://www.storephotos.com/pb50.html should do the trick. It holds 50 photos (or recipes) and it has a durable, plastic cover that you can easily clean up. They also have a ton of other albums if that one is too small. Good Luck finding what you're looking for :)

    Check your local card shops,

such as Hal Mark or even

    some of the Dollar Stores.

You may also find them in

the Bridal gift section of some

    stores !!

    Best Wishes !!

I just went and bought a nice 3 X 5 index card box at Staples.

Why not keep them on a Rolodex? You can spin it to the recipe you like, the recipes are kept splatter-free and it's easy to store.

Here's what they look like: http://www.rolodex.com/sanford/consumer/rolodex/pr...

you know what you should do you should print them and label them like (for example) cakes, pastas something like that then put them in a binder or....................... in a little folder with labels :)
