Does the grace of God make salvation certain, or merely possible?

Are the words in the song AMAZING GRACE correct where they say...

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,

That SAVED a wretch like me.

I once was lost but now am found,

Was blind, but now I see." (emphasis added)

Kidd, it is absolutely, 100%, without a doubt CERTAIN for the believer. I believe in a God who is so powerful that he can not only gather His own flock together; He has definitively and efficaciously done so before we were born. He specifically put the parents of the believer together, and the parents' parents, and so on, orchestrating his congregation so that no one may question His sovereignty. Christians stand out in the world as witness to His glory, persecuted, mocked, trampled underfoot, celebrating the risen Lord anyway. His own will enjoy Him forever. Those who are not His own will bow anyway one day!

Yes, Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. Soli Deo Gloria!

Apart from Jesus Christ there is no salvation. If Jesus Christ had not done what He did. Died on the cross, bore the judgment of God, and rose again from the dead. There would be no salvation and no grace.

Does God's amazing grace make salvation certain? Yes it does.

Now, is salvation possible for everyone? Yes, I believe it is. Will everyone accept it, NO. If they did, there would be no hell. God says there will be those in the last days who go to the execution of His judgment with gnashing teeth and tearing eyes of anger as they go to eternal sentence.

So salvation and grace is not for everyone. Many today even joke about it. They believe that Hell will be a place of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Like it will be a day at the beach. They are gravely mistaken.

Pray that God would open their eyes before that time, when it will be too late. We deserve the same fate, but for the Grace of God.

Grace is the gift of love from God that manifests itself in many ways.

And Grace saves by opening eyes and healing the person. Grace seeks the lost one while protecting the other 99.

Grace saves yes, a person has free will and must choose God Almighty.

The grace of God bestowed upon an individual makes

    salvation an absolute certainty.

    John 6:37

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

    John 6:39

This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

"Christ did not die for any upon the condition, if they do believe; but He died for all God's elect, that they should believe."

    JOHN OWEN

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear

    and grace my fears relieved

How precious did that grace appear

    the hour I first believed!

Noahic grace was partial, but save some scuttled all perish by law till the seed: Christ(the end of the law) came, by which none perish if law isn't turned to again. Sadly many turn back to law again by adding sacrifice to mercy, thereby adding merciless law to merciful grace, and notably "to their own destruction", as noted in several places like Galatians 5:4; 1Thessalonians 5:3; Hebrews 7:23; 2Peter 3:16.

So Jude 1:5 reminds us grace + law is as saved + destroyed after, because grace + law is as life + death, obviously a dead end when death added to life by add law worketh wrath to grace is sufficient.

Only pure grace makes it to the end (of law) written alive unto God,

    the end we're told to endure unto to be saved(only) by grace(only);

For any heart not established with grace will condemn itself,

and will notably do such self-condemnation with it's own mouth.

    (Job 15:6; Mt 15:11; Mk 7:20-22; Lk 6:25; Rom 2:1; Jam 3:10)

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Grace must be continually accessed by a person to keep them clean from sin. It is always available but we need to draw on it as we fall from grace through sin.

If we repent of our sins He is ever faithful to cleanse us from that sin over and over, seven times a day if need be.

the grace of God makes salvation a gift from God possible if you accept Christ and do the best you can ask for help from God,repent of your sins....I believe it is a free gift from God but we must try to live for Him and we want to when we are saved

The grace (unmerited favor) of God makes salvation a free gift and possible for every person.
