Why did it take so long for President Bush to pardon Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean ?

    There was so much pressure put on the white house for this commutation, I think he did it when he did so that the inauguration would over shadow it, and it wouldn't make such a big noise. Similar to putting out bad news late Friday afternoon, so a lot of people don't hear about it until the next week.

    I think those two were framed, and unjustly put in jail.

    POLITICS! The sentences were commuted. They are still considered felons. Johnny Sutton should be in prison and take their place.

    I don't understand why it's taking them so long to get released! March 20th is way too long.

    He didn't even pardon them, he just commuted their sentences.
