What are the best diapers? ?
Huggies or Pampers. I was told one of them explodes easily and gets the gel stuff everywhere.

I found pampers to leak less when using infant sizes and huggies when you step up to size 2. huggies will explode gel every were but only if you grossly over fill it. As long as you are changing regularly they are the best. Oh and don't toss them when full they will explode on impact with a hard surface! I have also tried other brands such as loves and white cloud, they really suck in comparison! Oh and I prefer supreme not natural fit. This is based on my experience with a boy up to the age of two, now in a size 5.

As an assistant teacher at a daycare, I've seen just about every brand of diapers made. So, between Huggies and Pampers, I'd have to choose Pampers, as they are much more absorbent. Also, if you plan to breastfeed they can better hold the "blowout poops," especially if you choose the Pampers Swaddlers. But, once your child is in size 2 or 3 diaper, you can get the same quality diaper for a much lower cost by using Luvs.
Just a word of caution: if your child is prone to allergies, I've seen many children break out with awful diaper rashes from using Huggies diapers.

If you use Pampers (and I'm sure Huggies as well) in a pool or immerse them in water, yes they do leak out this gel stuff from inside the diaper.
As far as which better is diaper, thats all a matter of opinion. I never cared for Huggies because they didn't fit my kids right and they leaked. I always used Pampers or Luvs. But I did use Huggies wipes because I liked those better.

I personally have seen both do that a one time or another... I think that it honestly it depends on the baby... I nanny for a little boy and huggies do not fit him right. There are huge gaps in the diaper on the sides... and he is in the right size, so pampers work best for him. On the other hand my cousin cannot wear pampers... my aunt only buys huggies for her and they fit perfectly on her. I think that you should buy a small one of each and try them out... that is what I am planning on doing with my baby since I have seen both work.

Pampers Swaddlers are the best diapers by far. I like the Huggies better than the Pampers Cruisers though.

I always loved the Pampers Swaddlers, but after the Swaddlers I liked Huggies. The regular Pampers (or Cruisers) never worked out for my kids.

It is completely a matter of personal opinion. I got so many diapers of all different brands for my baby shower, I swear I've tried every brand on the market. I hate Pampers. They are scented and that creeps me out. I strongly prefer Huggies to every other brand on the market. They are unscented, they fit well, and I've never had any problems with them. The best low priced brand is White Cloud and the worst brand is Luvs.

I think different diapers work for different babies. I prefer Huggies, but I really don't see the point in paying so much extra so I usually use Pampers or Luvs which is the best price. I hear Luvs gives lots of babies rashes though. They work fine for us.

Pampers Swaddlers. Is amazing. HUGGIES, was a disaster for me. It wasn't the gel, it was the fact that they leaked and for some reason they gave my daughter rashes.
Pampers were nice, they never leaked. They always stayed on right. I never had any problem with rashes.

it's huggies that gets all mushy! but only if you let the kid soak in the diaper!
i like pampers because it keeps the baby dry, but you should still change the baby every time it gets soiled or urinates!
we used swaddlers and then changed to pampers cruisers, they are softer than the babydry ones. and pampers sensitive wipes are the best as well! sock up!
