Calling all conspiracy theorists...?

Do you think that CJ Roberts miffed the language of the presidential oath of office so that conservatives would have an ace in their pocket in protecting themselves in the future from Obama?

.... perhaps an executive order puts one of the key group into legal trouble, possibly even prison. They cash in a "get out of jail free" card by saying with the argument that he was not legally President at the time, so he could not have issued such an executive order that made what they did illegal.

If killers, murders, and rapists can get out of jail because a lawyer argued that the DA misspelled their name on the complaint, the police mislabeled a sample (that was later corrected), or a ticket had the wrong car make (but correct license plate), is there any better assurance of freedom that the Constitutional argument that the Oath outlined in the Constitution was not legally administered, stripping Obama of executive privilege and all actions until it can be administered legally?

After all, Roberts' court would hear the argument.

Update:

Just because you try and someone catches you doesn't mean that didn't try.

Re: Cookie Monster loves Muff Diving - Sailor! I am not he, so change your post please. Look at the pic and name... don't you think that I may be making fun of said dizzle? lol, especially when his sad ego blocked me. Hehe.

Update 2:

Truth seeker - It doesn't appear that you have a legal mind. I got out of a ticket because the officer put down Civic instead of Camry. The Constitution says (Article II, Section 1) "Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:..." If it hadn't been caught that the Oath placed into the Constitution hadn't been read, then every executive order written from January 20, 2009 to... whenever, would not be legal.

And you're right. It was caught. At least some people were paying attention. But that isn't the question I'm asking.

Update 3:

Think of it this way - even if your team scores a touchdown, if you had 12 men on the field the goal is no good. If the game ends and no one catches the flub, then the losing team can argue for a replay because all they need is one more win to get into the playoffs. At a minimum, maybe the results of the game get tossed out, allowing their W/L ratio to qualify them.

Do you know that very same thought went through my mind during that muddled muddied presidential oath especially as the good judge was handpicked by GWB back in 2005.

That gabbled oath was more in the style of 'BushSpeak' and in absolute contrast to the poised eloquent presidential address that Barack delivered not long after.

Yes it does make you wonder!

Obama became the President at noon Tues., with or without an oath.

The 20th Amendment, ratified in 1933 to shorten the gulf between presidential elections (in November) and the old transfer date (March), clearly states that a new term of office for a new president begins at noon on January 20th.

Since President Obama "won" that Electoral College vote back in December, he was legally and constitutionally and for all other purposes the president this past Tuesday even before he and Roberts did their Abbott and Costello routine.

No, what I saw was Obama starting to repeat too soon, making Robert's nervous and he then flubbed a line.

Two nervous men doing something historical is a recipe for disaster.

Obama voted against Justice Roberts conformation to the court, merely a payback

This debate is over. Obama re-took the oath exactly as prescribed in the Constitution so the point is no longer valid.

If executive order brought to light true, undeniable evidence that the Bush Administration had broken serious laws, and it was brought out into the public view, I don't think that the people would let them get away with such a technicality.

you may have something. I do know that Roberts is the guy who is overseeing the case in his court right now into whether Obama was born in this country and seeing how he has all the proof in front of him, or rather no proof. maybe he goofed on purpose because he knows Obama is a fraud.

They corrected the error already by redoing the ceremony. Moot issue now.
