If Al Gore won the 2000 election would he been a good president?

Good things:

He would have got a jump start on "Going Green".

We wouldn't be at war

We wouldn't be in this economic state. (we'd be bad, but not this bad)

Bad things:

His rating would be loww after 9/11 because he wouldn't have sent troops.

Saddam would still be alive

We wouldn't get Obama

do you recognize what Al has been as much as? nicely he's nicely general and respected around the entire international! If Gore have been Elected, Iraq could by no ability have took place! Afghanistan could have already be OVER! Bush, no longer something yet a failure BUSH! which would be his legacy! And he can quit attempting to play the stable guy! all of us understand he despatched each and all of the roles someplace else, and then ask your self why human beings won't be in a position to pay their morgages on Mickey D's Wages!

I voted for Bush and regret it. A recent poll said that most think he would have done better than Bush and regretted not voting for Gore. I am a deficit hawk and voted for Bush figuring that perhaps Congress would moderate his proposals AND if I didn't get deficit control, at least the error would benefit me. You may recall that Bush proposed huge tax cuts while Gore proposed huge spending increases. I think anyone would have done better than Bush in almost every regard.
