NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion for 2009?

Dale Jr or Jeff Gordon will win the championship in 2009, sorry Jimmie you can win in 2010. But I really hope Dale Jr can pull it off.

I leave out Kyle because, while he can race, he choked last year. They say you gotta lose one before you can win one, but if that's the case, Mark Martin should have about 3 or 4 championships (if not more).

When Kyle is competitive in the Chase (which he hasn't been...ever) he will have a chance to win the championship. If that's this year, than good for him. I think though he'll have to wait another year or two.

Besides, with testing almost canned for the year, it'll be a matter of who has the best notes already and experience will be key. You can't really bet against Jimmie Johnson then, can you?

Although it's about as unlikely as possible, I have a sentimental favorite for champion in my hometown driver of David Reutimann. Considering my parents have had a car repaired at his collision repair shop after an accident before, he lives like 10 miles from me, he drove a car with food sponsors, AND he has experience now and started coming on strong last year, I hope Ole Root does something this year. I'm hoping to push some people out of my way at Daytona for an autograph. Got my 2007 Reutimann Rookie shirt to get autographed.

Just like I told dude last year why Kyle Busch isn't going to be cup champion, I will have fun watching all his fans hopes and dreams wither throughout the season. We got a guy in a Ford that has some unfinished business, and he's one step ahead of Kyle in the learning process. All Kyle has to do to make this happen, is to take points away from Jimmie Johnson, and I know for sure Kyle can do that. So come on out of the woodwork Kyle fans. It's time for a little JGR exploitation.

I am hoping Tony Stewart is once again champ, but I think Kyle has got a really good chance.I just really hope Jimmie Johnson doesn't win again.

I think Carl Edwards just may flip his way into the Championship...only time will tell. It's going to be a great season!
