Thoughts on the name Jude for a boy?
The two names I'm considering for my son are Jude Thomas and Ian Gregory. I like names that are easy to pronounce and spell and don't have common nicknames. Thoughts?

I love both of them. Thomas is one of my boys middles. Ian is the oldest son of my best friend. Good names!

Ooh! I feel like I'm in the inner circle of name-knowing. Both are classic names that are not over-used, which is a good combination in my opinion. I like Ian, because it reminds me of the Outlander books. Combined with Gregory (which is one of my favorite boy names), it's very Scottish-sounding. People might call him Ian (long i sound) though, like that guy from 90210 (the original). Don't know if you care about potential mispronouncing. Jude is cool, and I like that he will have a "theme song." I guess mean elementary school bullies could call him Judy, but other than that, it's probably a pretty harmless name. Between the two, my preference is Ian Gregory.

I'm not a fan of Ian, but I think I will always have a soft spot for the name Jude. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to not name his future dog that so we can save it for a child! Lol!
Jude Thomas is an AMAZING name. But maybe my guy and I are a little biased; we love the Beatles!

Jude Thomas is precious, I really like that name. Don't like Ian so much. We thought about Jude for our last baby, but decided on Jackson, (Jack Henry).

It's a nice name. Beware they will get the "Hey Jude" thing for their whole lives though.
