I have yellow water in all of toilets but not from my taps?

Strange, all 3 toilets in my house have yellow urine looking water but all the taps are crystal clear. it just started today. All my pipes are PVC.....Are my toilets on a separate water line?

you have iron in your water, the water in your toilets sits in the tanks and settles out builds up on the inside of the tanks so when you flush the water stirs up the sediment and you can see it as rust. your toilets and faucets are all on the same lines. you can control this with a water softener. hope this helps.

Run cold water into a white container, chances are you will see a lighter color of yellow there too. Rust from iron in the water or iron pipes. PS. Softeners do not remove iron.

The problem has to be in your tank. Have there been any hockey puck cleansers inserted in the tank that could change the color?

did sombody break in your house, pee in all your toilets, and not flush? That's a pretty crazy thing to do to somebody!
