2000 mercury mystique Check Engine light help!?

I have a 2000 mystique and yesterday it was running rough when idle.

Today it was running fine. I put dry gas in it because I've had ice in the fuel line before and it was okay. Today I took the car to AutoZone and they gave me the code

p1131

Is it okay to drive around until monday when I get it looked at?

is it something serious?

Update:

Check Engine light is on but not flashing.

Update 2:

Yes I will have it looked at monday

Sounds like you may have a fuel system problem. This is possibly due to an O2 Sensor. That 1131 code means you have an insufficient control valve sensor/lean. You should be okay until monday. But I would have it looked at as soon as possible

It is probably a drive belt loose or it's just in need of a good maintenance check up. I use antifreeze for the gas tank too but it's cold here 85% of the time anyway.

Wrong. Stick to what you know. I don't know what you know anything about, but cars aren't it.

A google search found the link below pertaining to the Contour, the clone to the Mystique.

If it didn't completely die on you and was just running rough, then you might be okay driving it until monday. It is probably a drive belt loose or it's just in need of a good maintenance check up. I use antifreeze for the gas tank too but it's cold here 85% of the time anyway.
