Apparently, after they come to an agreement, it will take about 12-14 weeks (about 3 months) to get the full service back. About 300 were out of service when the strike began, 300 were supposed to have their annual inspection this month, and all the other ones will need new batteries because they haven't been running for so long. So don't expect full service until May.

The City and OC Tranpo haven't talk to each other since late December. I saw in the Citizen that they are supposed to talk on Monday. The City have just realized that their strategy is not working. As I've read somewhere, we will be in shorts before we see buses again. There is absolutely no end in sight.

What the hell is the problem? Since when did public transit in this city become optional? Awe almost 7% rejected? Wah Wah. I am only taking OC Transpo because I have no other option. Frankly if monkeys driving snowmobiles were up against OC Transpo I would probablly choose that right now. But there is the problem. No competition, unionized.. I don't get to walk off the job if I don't like the hours or the pay. I have customers yell at me everyday. Deal with it babies. I'm sure you can afford hankies made out of money to cry into after this gong show is over. Especially with what you are getting paid. Have you taken a look at the carpool sites? 80% passengers. How about taxi fare across the city, for me personally that is an 80$ a day fare. Why don't I start smoking crack while I am at it, would probablly cost less and well I would care less too I guess. Way to encourage public transit to improve environmental issues etc. You just f@#$ that campaign up. Idiots. Go to hell. Let's close emergency rooms next. And grocery stores. Go to hell.

I hope it doesn't go to spring, a lot of people depending on a paycheck.
