Well, here's the thing...i'm kinda going thought the same thing right now, except for my problem isn't telling my mom...it's telling my best friend, because the dad is her brother.
But the problem is that the doctors are getting inconclusive urine tests, and so are my hpt's so i set up an appointment with another doctor for a blood test and or ultrasound (the doctors are pretty sure i am pregnant)
But i've decided not to tell my friend until i know for sure, because i figure why worry her only to find out it's not positive? If you think your mom will be very upset or freak out then Wait to tell her until you know for sure. If you think she will be understanding and possibly help you in the situation then tell her as soon as you want to.
You could use all the help and support you can get right now and if you think your mom will be one of those people then tell her. It would help. If you don't think she would be, then wait. The last thing you want is her freaking out only to find out that your not pregnant.
And by the way...the doctor CANNOT tell her. It's breaking patient/doctor confidentiality.

What you could do is say mom I might be pregnant and I am seeing the doctor on the 28th to find out. You should take a pregnancy test since you have not had your period since November 22. Because I am sure your mom will ask you if you took a test yet.
I wish you the best of luck and hope your boyfriend doesnt wig out on you when things get harder.

Just tell your mom. You have already booked an appointment on your own so you are obviously somewhat responsible. If you haven't had a period since Nov 22nd I take it you are about 2 months pregnant. The longer you wait to tell her the worst it'll be, trust me. Good luck and congrats!

Getting bloodwork done is not going to show your pregnant. They don't do pregnancy tests at dr visits unless your at an ob/gyn and u are there for that reason. You should take a home pregnancy test or tell your mom.

I went to exertions and transport at 29 weeks inclusive of your indications, and that i replaced into hospitalized for 8 days for preterm exertions. i'm on mattress relax nonetheless, even even with the undeniable fact that it replaced into well worth it to flow and make particular the infant replaced into ok. Plus, they gave me photographs to help my infant's lungs mature quicker, so he could have a greater effective danger if he got here early. that is frequently greater effective secure than sorry. i think of you need to flow to exertions and transport, the ER will merely look you over and deliver you abode regardless of if some thing is heavily incorrect. exertions and transport focuses on toddlers and pregnant women individuals.

I told my mother I want to have a baby and she wigged out on me.(Im 16). It all depends on whether you think your mom will be alright and supportive of it. Otherwise wait and see, it might be something else and you've gotten her stressed out for nothing.

It's up to you. If your really close with her and it would benefit you, tell her. If not, wait until you find out whats really going on.

at 17 i would think you need parental guidance, i know for a fact that these situations happen and it happened to my sister, yet both my parents supported her and they were not completely crazed as you say.

no wait until after the doctors and figure out what ur going to do
keep, adopt, abort and be firm about ur decision then tell her that ur preganat and what ur going to do

id probably tell before hand, because where you are under 18 the doctor can legally tell her before you, and im sure she would appreciate finding out from you before hand then by someone else.
