Question on losing weight?
I wanted to know, I weigh 187 and I want to lose 30-40lbs, I own a treadmill, a work-out bike, a stepper, and I have recently bought the Nintendo WII Fit, (which is awesome) keep hearing that I have to tone and do strength training in order to lose weight faster and other people tell me, don't tone or strength train because you'll turn the at into muscle? I'm confused, do I incorporate 5lb weights into my workout or do I keep it strictly treadmill and bike? Thanks all for answering

Strength training will help you lose more weight than by just doing cardio itself. Strength training burns fat and you will become more toned which is always a good thing. There's no need to worry about bulking up or anything because it doesn't really work that way for women- so yes- you should definitely incorporate those weights in to your workout- or even dedicate 3-4 workouts a week to just strength training.

Try martial arts, it's an expensive sport but it's worth it. If you're just starting out, it's not too expensive because you don't have to buy all the fancy gear and tournaments yet.
I tried karate and loved it, and I lost loads of weight. Just shop around to find a master, the first school I went to was really expensive but then I found a great school that was much more reasonably priced.
