How did a completely non-pornographic video I uploaded onto YouTube end up on a porn site?
In December I made a video of my art and music set to Maya Angelou’s poem “Caged Bird” for my mum and uploaded it onto YouTube, and a few days ago when my grandfather had misplaced the direct link to my channel and did a Yahoo search of my user name to find it he was stunned and appalled to discover it on a site called XXX-Porn-Forum. There are no pornographic images in any of the paintings, or anything even remotely sexual or obscene in the poem or music (Coldplay’s “Fix You” and a gospel song called “Freedom”) or in any of my other videos, so I am bewildered as to why it is now on a porn site. I know that YouTube allows other sites to broadcast videos their users have uploaded without asking for the user’s permission, but I thought it was only supposed to be on pages relevant to the subject of the video. Like, for example, my video about traveling is now on a travel site and I’m totally fine with that, but since “Caged Bird” is diametrically different than anything you’d ever find on a porn site I’m bewildered as to why it is now on one. Does anyone have any ideas as to how it could have wound up on this site http://xxx-porn-forum.us/ or what I can do to have them take it down? No one has replied to my emails.
Also, can anyone suggest other video sharing sites that I could use? I'd like to upload some of my original songs but I'm now wary of YouTube.

Btw, the forum page I linked above does not contain any graphic images, but I apologize if it causes anyone offense. It offends me, too. I only posted the link in order to seek help in determining how my videos ended up on that page.

I took the second answerer's advice and changed my YouTube settings so that my videos can no longer be embedded on other sites, but I'm incredibly frustrated & annoyed that my description of the video and link to my channel is still on the Porn Forum. I am mortified (as our my parents) by the vulgar lines that were tacked under it so bizarrely and incongruently, and I most definitely did not write them. I think the site automatically adds a few pre-written lines to every blog because I noticed the exact same thing tacked on other things there. Though most of the other blogs & videos are actually.... about porn, not a Maya Angelou poem.
My stepdad is an attorney and is working on this, so hopefully the forum will take it down soon.
As my boyfriend said, this whole thing is so freaking weird it's almost amusing. Almost.

I just wanted to say that the best 20 minutes of my day has been watching your clips again.......everything about you is so shiny and wonderful. Watching them makes the world kind of stop - yet open up in a whole different way...especially with your worldly travels and photos.
You know I am a HUGE fan of yours, and one day when you travel the world with your paintings in an art exhibition, I will be the first in line to buy one of them!!!

When I checked it out it was not on a porn site. Loved your pics and comments as well as the music. I teem painting with poetry and find they add to each other. This gives me some ideas I want to put into practise. Thank you for the inspiration. I think a lot of good stuff gets swamped by these sites as some stuff I look up definitely does not need the company of depraved viewing. May be there is no control of this and it just happens ???? Did you put in the last six line that came up in" porn forum.us?" It looks like someone else added those words and if so I would be highly annoyed if I were you.

You won't get police coming to arrest you, although there is a possibility you may have snagged a stray virus or some malware. What type of security program do you have on your computer? I am hesitant to suggest any type of scans or checks without knowing what computer your running or if it already has any antivirus running already. As for some advice, here's a little from personal experience: Just tell your parents. Come clean, explain what happened. Trust me, you don't want to be the guy that sits up at night with it eating away at you while you wrestle with guilt. You may get in trouble if they are very paranoid and uptight and don't believe you, but the short-term consequences of that happening are MUCH better than the long term.

they probably just embed it on the site just go to ur video options in my video and edit ur video browse the options there and find do not embed on other sites and that will help

Your video is SO GOOD though. It's AMAZING. I like the other ones to! You should defanetely post your original songs. Idk maybe on site like Bebo?

they maybe thought it was good and wanted to put it on there site but at least they claim it as yours and not theres.
