White tube behind tongue?

I have had a productive cough for a month now and now also have a cold with it. I checked my throat today and noticed there is this white tube in the back of my throat! It is weird to look at, since it is something you never really see.

I don't have a sore throat, I don't have trouble swallowing, but when I get up too quickly my head starts to hurt a bit and there have been points where I have felt pretty tired, but I figured that was because I had been so busy.

Thanks for any of the help you can give me!

Update:

It is NOT a string of mucus! I can see veins in it! It is some sort of flap or tube, I cannot tell.

Update 2:

My uvula is fine. the white tube/flap is coming up from my throat.

it sounds like a bacterial infection bro sometimes they are secondary to colds and sometimes we think we have colds and they are really sinus infections ..

The only thing I can guess is that you are looking at a string of mucus i the back of your throat draining from your sinuses. Try gargling with salt water and see if it goes away

Could it possibly be a swollen tonsil? The only other thing I can think of is the uvula.
