Do religious people care about the environment? Why do so many of them deny that global warming exists, when there is scientific evidence to state that we are experiencing severe weather changes, including those that create dangerous freak storms? And even if it wouldn't destroy the world, breathing cleaner air in big cities would be nice.

No, they don't care about the environment. They are responsible for the obesity and pollution in America too. Also the rising oil & fuel prices.
