troops beginning to come out of Iraq (Obama says they will be out in 16 months)

What we better see is this country getting to work a thousand jobs - fixing the roads and updating our electrical grid!!! No kidding!!! Obama has pledged to do this if he can get past the republicans.

We just wasted 8 long years with Bush where NOTHING was done - and we have highway bridges collapsing. It's time to get a LOT of work done - and when people are working that will help out the economy.

But the republicans have to whine and whine first.

Abortions being funded by our tax dollars INSIDE the USA.

A gun ban or perhaps a gun grab. I see a federal law trying to void out the Concealed Carry laws of 48 states.

An attempt to shut up the Conservative talk shows on the radio. Obama does not like being criticized and he wants to shut up Rush and Hannity. I think he will try to use the old "fairness doctrine" to do it.

A civilian security force as powerful as the US military. Obama said it and I think he will try it. The question is, will they wear uniforms like the SS or go plain clothes like the KGB or Gestapo?

Foreign nations finally realizing we are not going to cut deficit spending and they cut off our credit. The recession we are having now is going to turn into another Great Depression and Obama will be referred to as "Hoover II."

i am afrade we will go from bad to worse,if you build the hopes of thepeople up then like a warrorer with only one arrow and you miss the dragon,all hope will seem to be lost,when its the people who should demand better politions and heads of corporations,we have no recourse as it is now,the only thing we can do is pay out the wazzo to try to make things right,but people in charge have to much built in greed to let any thing that might not profit them happen,look at the new pork barrel stuff that got thrown in to the bail out plann.dont those fools realise if we sink every body goes down with the ship,i see the hardest times ever in our history coming like a hurrican did katrena and the goverment is just as prepared as fema was.

Hopefully a lot of good things, but he certainly has a tough road ahead of him.
