With the youngest Staal bro making his NHL debut in the near future, that would give this IMMEDIATE family a total of 4 currently playing in the league (barring a disaster/ injury to the others)..
Q--- What family has had the most members playing in the NHL at the same time??? Can be a combination of brothers, cousins, in-laws etc (Immediate family preferrably, i.e.-- brothers; but interesting enough knowing all family ties to the game--cousins etc)....

I do believe the Sutters have that honor . By far and away. Then if you count the minors , kids leagues and beers leagues those people in the family play and have played in man that is a ton of ice time. This is coming from a person that has played hockey with Duane Sutter's wife and daughter.
The Bonus is the Nashville Knights. She played 4 games with them in 1993 1994 .
