Did you have any side effects from Paxil? ?
I am going to start taking Paxil for an anxiety disorder, and was wondering what type of side effects you have experienced with it?

The side effect I had from paxil is when I quit taking it. Once you start this drug you cannot just stop on your own, you will have to get a doctor to prescribe something else.
The withdrawals are just unbelievable, makes you feel like you are going to have a heart attack and also gives you electric shocks all day.
I started taking paxil after lexapro and I have to say if your doctor can give you something else taking anything else except for paxil especially if you would have to quit taking it due to pregnancy or something.

Less likely that all these symptoms are side effects of Paxil. I think you should try to change medicine. Try Zolofit in consultation with your doctor. Based on experience of my clients , Forgetfulness , Weight Gain , Sexual side effect can be attributed to Paxil.

Well, everyone is different. I was on this medication when i was a kid (it's not allowed for children anymore as far as i know!) but i was VERY hyper, i felt out of control in my behaviours, i then changed medications to one that was right for me, this is what i remember.
But like i said everyone is different.
Here are some side-effects of paxil.
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome:
Anxiety; blurred vision; constipation; decreased sexual desire or ability; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; gas; increased sweating; increased urination; loss of appetite; nausea; nervousness; stomach upset; trouble concentrating; trouble sleeping; unusual skin sensations; weakness; yawning.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bizarre behavior; black or bloody stools; chest pain; exaggerated reflexes; fast or irregular heartbeat; fever, chills, or sore throat; hallucinations; loss of coordination; new or worsening agitation, panic attacks, aggressiveness, impulsiveness, irritability, hostility, exaggerated feeling of well-being, restlessness, or inability to sit still; persistent or severe ringing in the ears; persistent, painful erection; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; seizures; severe or persistent anxiety or trouble sleeping; significant weight loss; stomach pain; suicidal thoughts or attempts; tremor; unusual bruising or bleeding; unusual or severe mental or mood changes; vision changes; worsening of depression.
ps - some people don't have any side-effects, some people have some but they aren't significant enough, but it's best to discuss things with your doctor.
Good luck with getting better! I know what it is like to have to be on medications, i have OCD...but i finally found a medication that works.
