There's a young man in my university class who acts incredibly strange. The first day he stated to the class and the professor, "I'm really intolerant". He sits and stares around with hims arms folded. He never smiles or changes his facial expression. Today, the second class, he comes and sits in the corner and yet again repeats when asked to answer a question about communities that he is "Intolerant" but this time he added when asked about society and isolation, "I was homeschooled, I spent 12 hours or so alone every day, but i am a misanthrope, I HATE all people" the professor paused and made a strange face. Then he said "We'll have to work on that..."

After the class, the Professor asked to see the young man...If this was your class, would you express your feelings to the professor? A lot of the class was making faces when he said it, indicating they felt very uncomfortable.

I notice that a lot of Americans on TV programs and the like use "mentally retarded" still, when speaking about people with mental disabilities or mental handicaps. In Canada, where I live, this is completely taboo and considered horribly rude. Is it not considered as such in America?

I usually do basic toning and strength training with 10-16 lbs weights, is it safe while menstruating? Or is it best not to?

Is it common to be withdrawaling 3 days after my last and final taper dose of Klonopin or Clonazepam?

I tapered for 3 months, now i'm sweating and feel sick and sore like i was while i was tapering, how long can this last? Personal experience answers or knowledgeable ones only please.

The vet nurse said it feels like gas from eating too fast and that it's common for kittens to get pot bellies because it's just skin basically covering her stomach. I am still worried though - anyone else have this experience?

I have been tapering off my klonopin for 3 months. today has been horrible and i took a full pill and i have been on a quarter of a pill for a week - i go down a quarter every week or 2. if i took this full pill which is 0.5 mg can i still go back to a quarter or do i have to start over?

since i only took a pill opposed to a quarter of a pill which is what i was taking, can i continue on a quarter tomorrow and keep trying or do i have to start allover again? Serious and knowledgeable responses only.

My cat pooped outside her box for the second time. Strange thing is, she also pooped in her box. She pooped in another room and then in her litter box? She's old, she's 15 but she jumps, purrs and plays. She tends to vomit a lot and this new habit is scaring me...She just had her blood work done and it was fine - i have no idea what's going on, i'm so sad.

Ive been slowly tapering off klonopin - im having a lot of "out of it" feeling, tired, have diarrhea and upset stomach, feel like crying a lot...any natural remedies or medicines i should try?

I got on seroquel while i was on my period, now my period just doesn't want to stop...i usually am very regular since i don't have sex, and i have been having discharge, now it's back to bleeding again. Can major medication changes like adding seroquel to my zoloft and tapering off my benzodapines cause period changes? Thanks so much!

I am getting off my Clonazepam (Klonopin) which is a benzodapine, which i am very addicted to. I take 1 mg a day, but .5 mg of this is equal to 10mg of valium, so it's very potent. Anyway, i'm having a hell of a time, anxiety, mood swings, rage, etc etc all the symptoms that can happen. I was wondering if using Marijuana during withdrawal would help or make things worse? I am on 200mg of Zoloft and just put on seroquel 25mg, both paired for my OCD, weird rages/mood swings, general anxiety disorder...and blah blah blah. Anyway, I have been on klonopin for far too long and now have a tolerance for it.. so i was prescribed seroquel to help with my intense intrusive thoughts and general busy mind...anyway, I'm extremely obsessive with my weight, I never gained anything on zoloft and i know most people do, nor did i gain on klonopin...but my friends on seroquel said they only gained a bit because it made them want to eat more. So if i don't change my eating (i don't eat much) and stay healthy, will i be okay?

I had some pot that smelled very pine-like, very strong. It was harsh to inhale and made me feel stupid and slow and unproductive. It also hit me hard instead of a slower, nice feeling. Was this Indica or Sativa?

I bought some "high quality" pot off a reliable person, I was attempting to try it out again for anxiety/OCD. I had done it a couple of times a few years ago, and I didn't experience what i did with this time around. This time the high hit me fast, I couldn't put sentences together in my mind - i couldn't think...I had no will to do anything...Whereas before it was much less of that, I was more just sleepy or relaxed. This time i was seriously feeling effed up. The next day i felt hungover, i couldn't remember much, it was like i had drank a bunch of alcohol. Was it the "high quality" that caused this? The next day i had several panic attacks.

I know the old ones like Zyprexa is horrible ( i was on it ) but what about other ones?

My shrink suggested a small dose of seroquel with my zoloft to help my sleep, anxiety and OCD, howevever, she mentioned some people gain weight - I just want to know your experiences, how much weight gain, if any - how to avoid it...if the drug is worth it and any other side-effects? Thanks!
