What Would You Do if This Guy Was in Your Class?

There's a young man in my university class who acts incredibly strange. The first day he stated to the class and the professor, "I'm really intolerant". He sits and stares around with hims arms folded. He never smiles or changes his facial expression. Today, the second class, he comes and sits in the corner and yet again repeats when asked to answer a question about communities that he is "Intolerant" but this time he added when asked about society and isolation, "I was homeschooled, I spent 12 hours or so alone every day, but i am a misanthrope, I HATE all people" the professor paused and made a strange face. Then he said "We'll have to work on that..."

After the class, the Professor asked to see the young man...If this was your class, would you express your feelings to the professor? A lot of the class was making faces when he said it, indicating they felt very uncomfortable.
