Switching from 7 meg to 3 meg internet speed. I only surf the net (no downloading or uploading). ?

Would there be a difference in the speed of web pages loading or my internet searches?

    Slightly, but only the web pages you view the most have a lot of images on them. Otherwise, you won't notice much difference at all.

    It will probably make some difference, but it probably won't be noticeable unless you look at alot of different pages with alot of pictures. The pictures on the pages you always look at will usually stay cached. If you happen to live in Portland, Oregon you can get fast cheap wireless anywhere in the metro are with Clear, and its pretty cheap. They say they are expanding to other cities soon too. For the rest of us who have to muddle through with cable, though, there are a few tricks to speed up your connection. The best way is to disable other programs that are using your internet, and hunt constantly for malware, adware, viruses, and cookies and eliminate them.
