Is it true that 165,000 Wall Street employees. . .?

. . . get paid out of that 18.5 billion bonus pool. Isn't that just a bit over 100k a person?

I realize it's not divided equally but still, it's expensive to live in NYC.

    But that's just a bonus not their annual pay, plus they don't have to live in the City to work their. And oh yeah they are responsible for the stock market losing over half its value in 12 months. Ask the retired people who have to find a job in this market if they feel that a bonus should be given to the people who lost half their nest egg by "managing" their money.
