So what is this? My belly kind of hurts...?

... not sharply, but almost every day for the past month and a half it's ached every day, some days are worse, other days are pain-free, and it's more on the right side than the left. My period's been late both times since it started, and it's physically impossible for me to be pregnant. I'm just a bit concerned, but not really worried. Any ideas?

Update:

Okay, confession time... haven't ever had a "girly" exam, and I'm 27. I KNOW, I know... it's coming back to haunt me now. Let the chastisement begin.

Update 2:

I've had kidney stones before and believe me, this is NOT the same thing. Those were pains from hell. This is just a nagging ache, and if it were kidney stones, they would've passed a few days after it started.

Update 3:

I guess I should add that my hormones haven't been giving me the usual markers throught the month telling me everything is on schedule. It's a bit odd.

i would recomend going to see your "girly" doctor lol (your gyn) ihad a lot of pain and problems with my period and it turns out i had cycts on my ovaries your girl parts can avtually cause a lot of problems lol get it checked out or you could have some type of stomache bug parasite that wont go away you can try cutting out all sugar from your diet for a weeks and see if that helps the reason being if it was some kind of bacteria sugar only feeds it and makes it so that it wont go away

Of crse I'm not a Dr., but it could possibly be an ulcer or hernia. I've had an appendicitis (which was on the right side)-I'm sure it would've rupture or made you sick before a month. Also, if you've been very stressed-your hormones might have been out of whack which could've affected your cycle and cause the pain in your stomach (if u're worried about something). Either way-u prob should get it checked out w/ a Doc! Feel better~

You could be having issues with gallbladder or appendix which usually afflicts the right side but the pain can travel. You could have gallstones or kidney stones. Your best bet is to get evaluated. Especially if it is appendix related. You don't want to wait that out. All the best to you,
