What is happening when I crack my penis?

Ok, I know there are other similar questions, but I haven't found an actual answer. When I have an erection, I can push from the head towards the base and it bends in the center and there is a cracking sound similar to a subtle back pop. I do this on a regular daily basis or so. Just like cracking your knuckles, I can only do it every so often. I would just like someone to take a stab at explaining what could be happening. And please don't bother posting that is not possible lol, because I'm pretty sure my girlfriend and I aren't imagining it happening.

Heck yea this used to happen to me all the time.... what you need is a penis health creme. All you need to do is apply a little bit to your penis once a day and your skin will stay moisturized and smooth all the time. I use one called Man1 Man Oil and it is a lifesaver. My dry skin would put me out of action for long stretches of time. Not anymore though. Check it out. Good luck.

Basicaly what you are doing is cracking your erectie tissue.

If you would like to make it so you can't ever get and erection again, or you would like to have a very sharp bend in your penis for the rest of your life, you can go on and keep doing that.

But if not, common sense tells me to stop.

Also by doing this you are making it more likley that your penis will break (yes you can break your penis) durring sex. If that happens you need surgery to prevent serious permenant dammage

It isn't the best thing for you to do on a regular basis.... kinda like cracking your knuckles. So I would lay off of it if you can. And you should use a penis health creme called Man1 Man Oil too. It will deliver key vitamins and nutrients directly to your penis and keep it extra healthy and strong. Tons of guys use it nowadays. Hope this helps and good luck.

with all those blood vessels in the penis that fill with blood during an erection, maybe you're doing something like cutting off the blood flow and it makes a noise like a popping? i'm not sure that cracking your penis is much better for you then cracking your knuckles. you may develop arthritis of the penis.

Think of it as a quirk of nature. It doesn't do any harm that I know of, but on the other hand, I wouldn't push my luck too far.

Source(s): I can do the same thing.

You have a penis bone - a very rare condition.
