Did Art Rooney really thank Barrack Obama for allowing a win over Arizona ?

Can anyone find a link? I wasn't sure my ears heard right because I have watched at least 42 super bowls and never heard an owner thank a President for a win.

He did! I can't imagine why or for what, but I'm curious about what exactly it was he was thanking him for.

From what I read in the paper o. was rooting for the Steelers to win. I hope that is all Mr. Rooney was thanking him for. I am a beloved fan of this organization and I dont need to be upset after this historic win with what I believe is a conservative Christian man supporting a liberal man. I dont know why someone on here would thank God for this man who was elected. You may be asking for God's help real soon.

Not likely since Obama had nothing to do with the outcome of the game.
