Does this look like twins?
Im only suppose to have one baby. I got my first ultrasound when I was 5 and a half weeks. They said they only seen one baby. She said it in a weird way though. Well, the other day I went to the doctor and and they heard a heartbeat on my far left side and my far right side. They really didn't say anything at all. They just have me going in on Thursday morning and next week. Then after that they want me to go every two weeks.
I feel movement on both of my stomach really strong. Im 16 weeks and 4 days and I'm very big for that. I bought a hospital quality heart doppler and heard a heart beat on my far left side at 156 beats a min and on my far right side I heard a heartbeat at 135. Could it really be possible. My mom says everyday that she thinks Im having twins and so does my mother in-law and sister-in-laws. Click on my picture to make it bigger and see if it looks like twins. I was no where near this size with my first baby at 16 weeks. I also never felt movement like that either. Especially feeling two separate movements at 12 weeks along. I don't necessarily feel the movement at the same time. it could be at different times, or when one starts a moment later another will.

You can't tell from looking at a pregnant belly whether it's a multiple pregnancy.
Doppler sounds can be a bit unreliable as well as there are echoes and also a lot of sounds going on inside you (including your heartbeat).
The only way to tell for sure is to have an ultrasound.
If your care giver suspected a multiple birth they would have made that very clear to you and confirmed it as soon as they could, as multiple pregnancies require a level of extra care.
Please also note that subsequent pregnancies usually result in a bigger belly than your first one, even if it's still only one baby - this is very common and the majority of women experience this.
If your baby is lying in a transverse position this can result on distinct feelings at both side of your belly.
There's no real way to tell - speak to your doctor/midwife and get their opinion, and an ultrasound.

If you are talking about your belly picture I would say you are small.Do you have an ultrasound photo? I looked bigger than that and you can not judge based on the size of a belly. I am 30 weeks measuring 34 and look like I am carrying a singleton but I have 6.5lbs of baby in there.

Since you're bigger at this early on, the chance is pretty good. You might not know for sure until you're 20 week ultrasound. So dont be surprised if there's 2 in there!! Congrats!! Plus since both you and the dr are finding 2 heartbeats, chances are there are twins growing in there.

It doesnt make the picture bigger for me ... However I would say from what you said you are having twins. and since the doctors havent said anything yet are monitoring you and having you go in for more ultra sounds then normal suggests that they also believe you are having twins but want to wait until you are a little further along to get a better picture of them both and make sure everything is fine with both of them! Weird they didnt catch it earlier on though :) Congrats, Id say its twins!

where's the link for the picture??
You should be having you're 18 to 24 week ultrasound soon so you'll be able to find out for sure then ;)
Good Luck!

If you had good doctors then they should be comunicating thoroughly with you and you state of pregnancy. Ask your doctors every single question that comes to your mind!
Either way, best of wishes to you!
