hard water stains on granite..?
i tried vinegar, and it works pretty well but doesnt get it all off. I am afraid to try clr and such because i dont want to ruin the polished granite surface. The build up is white rings directly underneath the faucet handles in my bathroom. anybody have any advice?

If you have polished granite, do not use anything harsh on it or it will take off the finish and you won't get it back...even vinegar is iffy to use on it...call your local kitchen store who will give you the info or the correct persons to contact about what is safe to use..don't ruin it..I also have granite..just try to keep the water cleaned around it and not let it sit on it once you have it cleaned. Remember it must be sealed once a year or more if in the bathroom.
