Obama?? Money?? When?

relax!! If you are working, do the best you can!!

Don’t hold your breath, the only way Obama could send you any money is if he prints more. The only problem with that is then it isn’t worth anything. I’m working only two days a week. My hours have been cut and my pay rate by 1/3. My last check for two weeks was $147. I get no help because I made to much last year. No unemployment because the state is out of money. Not that I want a handout from the “Messiah” I would rather earn what I get.

Nobody explicitly promised a check to you. Economic stimulus can be in the form of tax decreases, which are preferable. If businesses have a lesser tax burden, they can employ more people, who in turn pay taxes and are off welfare roles. This more responsible method appears to be what some in Congress have in mind.

If you both work you won't be getting a check, its for drug addicts, alcoholics gamblers and illegal immigrants who cannot pay their mortgage payments. Only we will be just stimulating more drug dealers and still they won't pay their mortgage. But the drug dealers can buy more drugs. YIKES! WE are doomed!

Get ready for the govt to take more TAXES out of your checks to pay these trillion dollar bailout bs bills!

I imagine most of this stimulus will go to California- you know the most messed up state we have, with drug addicts smoking joints on every corner and don't even get arrested..

Lady have you read the news, he's pushing for this... congress has to pass the bill and it's the REPUBLICANS that are holding him back!! and further more, he's been in office for like two weeks... you can't make something like that happen so quickly.

And I'm not on welfare either, but don't judge those who are. One day you and your husband could get laid off with no severance package... your savings runs out, you can't find another job... bills don't stop and your kids gotta eat... it happens to people all the time. Yes, there are low lifes getting help... but you should stop being so ignorant and look at the bigger picture.

Chill, it doesn't happen over night this could take like a year.
