Help me out with this poem please?

I'm writing a poem for English. It must include two metaphors and have five lines maximum. I was thinking cats. What do you think I should write about? It doesn't have to be meaningful, either. It just has to meet the criteria.

I'm sorry, I have writers block.

    i figure the friend and the hope are metaphors.

    Unconditional friend,

    always there for me.

    He's my hope,

    furry and soft,

    Harley.

    [insert your pet's name where I put mine, lol]

    physical features make for easy metaphors.

    "her hair was golden silk"

    "his eyes were two pools of water"

    etc..
