hi!! YAY anime poll 2!! congrats! OK anyways.. lucky u got to take a nap lol..im falling asleep now.

1. I have noticed that there have been many anti-anime fans in the Comics and Animation category as of late. What do you have to say about them and their comments/insults?

yea its getting worse. think about it...most of them or alot of them just say we have no life or get a life or sumthin retarted like that. there just showing that they have no life. by coming on here to tell us we have no life by doing something that makes us happy...meanwhile there just critising us cus they have nothing better to do. they will deny this of course but its 100% true. they need to worry about themselves...there the ones who need to get a life..they should find sumthin they enjoy and let us enjoy what we want. anyways thats wat i have to say about it lol. i know most anime fans will agree.

well im not a nerd in school...in other words..my grades suck lol. ive never been good at school and i dont give a crap. but i do love anime/manga and video games. its like another world where u can escape. i mean everyone needs sumthing like that. wheather it be tv, sports, a hobby, or whatever u enjoy. i enjoy this like lots of other ppl. i dont think that makes me a nerd. and so what if it does. without nerds or geeks we wouldnt have tv, computer, cars, phones, electricity, medicine, ext...if everyone never thought outside the box and we were all simple minded like some other ppl we would still be cavemen. so im not ashamed if i am and no one should be. but i dont think loving anime/manga makes u a nerd or a geek. its a dumb steryotype..like if u play a sport does that make u a jock? no so its the same thing. i hate sports tho lol

3. How many people do you know (in real life - friends, family, school...) who read manga and/or watch anime?

5 of my friends love anime/manga. i got rly into it a few years ago and then i got my brother and dad obsessed with a few anime shows too lol. they hated it before i made em give it a chance. they love Inuyasha, Naruto and Fruits Basket. none of my other family likes it cus there older and refuse to try anything "new" they like what they grew up with and thats it....sad huh. i mean not everyone has to like it but if u dont like it just shut up and move on....im just happy i dont have any rl haters in my family.

4. Do you believe that anime and manga fans in general seem to be more intelligent than the average student? Or do you think otherwise or that it makes no difference? (I find them to be more intelligent, but that could be due to many things.)

i do to a certain extent. i think they have more imagintion (u need some imagination to like anime rly)..they can be good at thinking outside the box or thinking or talking about things that no one else would go to. i find most of them r good at relating to ppl and not judging ppl. anime is good at teaching that and we dont even realize it sometimes. but yes i believe that anime/manga fans r more intelligent to ur average student. that could be from alot of things ur rite but anime is deffinitly contributing.

5. If you were to encounter a group of manga opposers, what would you do or say?

honestly i would say "u dont have to like. if u dont shut up and move on" ....if they get nasty or bitchy like they do i would say "so ur life is convincing us it sucks? get a life u pricks."

thats it. if they still fight it it cus there in a croud and afraid to agree or walkaway cus they have no dam backbone.

YES I AM! i saw the movie and yes i admit it was good but omg this is blown out of proportion. i mean it wasnt THAT good. i rly enjoyed that movie but seriously it was just 1 movie. i hope it dies down soon cus we neeeed to talk about something new than 1 dam movie. i mean its not like a series where new things r up to talk about with it. theres not...its over. end of story lol

Well, Just because some nerds or geeks are anime fans it does not mean all are. As long as you and I are not nerds or geeks no problem. Whoever calls us nerds/geeks take it back.

Well a lot. Most of my friends like Pokemon or Dragonball Z so they are anime fans.

I'm not sure. I'm a good student. That's all I know.

My day's been good so far! Anyway..

1.you don't really have to be an anime fan to be in comics and animation, since anime is only a part of it(albeit a big part), and not all of it. that said, i am an anime and manga fan, and i just try to ignore those that come here to bash anime.we all have different opinions, and they should come here to talk about what they like, not bash what they don't.

2.Let them stereotype all they want.I still love anime!

3.I know lots actually, can't really count them all..it's just too bad though that none of my closest friends is an anime fan.Oh well, I can always discuss anime on the internet!

4.hmm, i don't really think it makes a difference..but i guess for us anime fans,it can help make a person more interesting if they are also into anime.

5.we all have our own opinions,so i wouldn't really say anything. I know some of their comments can be bothersome, but it won't do to oppose them.It's best to just ignore them..I personally think to myself that they are missing out on something.

Usually kids, babies, etc. from anime fans haters.

That's what they think of us, even adults who still watch anime (and the haters are usually teens, so that's extremely immature).

Haters also view the fans as "have no life", "need to grow up", "stupid", blah blah blah.

The reason is obvious......they don't respect hobbies (watching anime) nor Japanese cultures. If we don't get that respect, it's the same as insulting those who watch football or play video games. There's no difference.
