Is there a way to download Microsoft Word for free online?

If there is a way, such a download of Microsoft Word is illegal. Microsoft doesn't give away their product. If you download it from anyone other than Microsoft, you'll be a criminal.

Also, those answerers who tell you where to download it are breaking community guidelines by promoting illegal activity.

There is an equivalent product that is free and legal. Try OpenOffice Suite from http://openoffice.org/ and download for your platform - Windows, Mac, Linux, makes no difference. It's like getting the whole Microsoft Office Suite for free - and is actually more compatible with all versions of Microsoft formats than Microsoft suites are with each other.

Amazing - but quite true. Ask anyone who's tried to send Word documents from 2007 to owners of earlier versions of Word - or any Word version to those not owning that "newer" version. The fix is to download OpenOffice.org - which will load and edit and print ANY version of Word.

That cannot be done legally. Perhaps you would like to try Open Office. It is designed to be almost exactly the same as Microsoft Office and Word. It will edit files created by Word and will create files that can be edited by Word.

Well,I dont think so. If you did it would be illegally. There are some programs who can imitate it, but the best is to get a technician to fix it.
