Why does the President act like he is still on the campaign trail?
Instead of getting his hands dirty and actually working on getting this bill passed, Obama seems to just be bashing Republicans, there are many Democrats that are against this bill too. Did he lie about being non-partisan? Is this the type of president we elected?
Brown950... The election results actually do show how stupid people really are. Our President is quite literally a big talking head.

To begin with, President Obama has never said one word about being "non-partisan." If you ever heard that anywhere, it was just a rumor that was not started by President Obama.
For another thing, the Democrats don't like this "stimulus" plan any more than the Republicans do. If they did, they'd JUST PASS IT. They have the votes. Why all this bickering? Because they want the Republicans to remove stuff and add stuff. That way, they can blame the Republicans when it goes down in flames. As it stands now, they know it will fail, and they know they won't have the Republicans to blame for it.
If the President is acting like he's back on the campaign trail, it's because he knows he's already in deep sh!t, and he's only two weeks into a four-year stint in hell.

If he is remains somewhat in "campaign mode," perhaps it's because he knows that the best way to get politicians to pass anything controversial is to convince them that there is active support for it outside the Beltway. And, the best way to do that is to help to generate that active support.
The reality is that elected officials count stacks of mail "for," and "against" before voting. Many of their staffers fielding phone calls are simply keeping count of how many are "for" and how many are "against."

Why do Republicans take half-truths and try to make issues out of them?
Is it because you have no real ones?
You DO realize that you are only damaging your party's image in the long run don't you?
Not everyone is LIKE the Limbaugh toadies who are willing to settle for pretend outrage.
I would think that the election results whould have given you a "heads up" that people are not as stupid as you think.

What party is still in the way of fixing things ?
he is acting like he is still on the campaign trail to get the People to once again voice there rage at the party who is doing nothing and that party is the Republican party.

He only knows how to campaign. He never did anything in the state senate and the United States Senate.

The republicans don't want to work with him. They want to tell him what to do instead of compromising and coming up with a new strategy. They want to go back to Bush's policies that haven't worked. Like in the Bush administration "my way or the high way".Read the news.

Why do republican congress-people act like they are still on the campaign trail?

Because he doesn't know how to switch gears to being president. I don't think even HE believes he actually won.
