Question on Table of Authorities in MS Word?
What I would like to achieve is a text looking sort of like this:
'It's been demonstrated that different types of water have a profound effect on a human being [1], [2]. My studies include experiments ... blah blah."
At the very end of my (very long) document I would like to list the sources in the following form:
[1] J. Doe "Miracle of Water", 1997
[2] C. Smith "Benefits of proper hydration, 1985
How to I do that?
Now, if I were to add another source which supposed to fit in between these two sources according to alphabetic order, say a book written by S. Johnson, the numbering will have to change. How do I make them change automatically, so that I don't have to go through entire text and change tem by hand?

Word's automatic Table of Authorities doesn't seem to number entries. And the similar Endnotes feature, which does, doesn't sort by entry, but by ordinal.
Sorry.
