Do you think French food is the best food in the world?

I do not think it's the best food in the world. I'd prefer a nice continental or Italian meal any night of the week over French.

Except, of course,

Bread

Eclairs

Brioche

French Toast

Macarones

Oh heck, most of their pastries.

I'm just not into snails, monkey brains, horse meat and that type of thing.

I'm kidding ! This is not our food which made us famous, but the way we eat. Eating and cooking is a very important activity in France, many of us think cooking is an art.

We love to cook, we love to eat, that's why someones believe our food is the best. I think theyre right but i can't judge honestly.

What i'm sure is : english food is the worst in the world !

I like some of the French food you can get here in the states, but I love real French food more, as in the food they actually serve their when you eat at someones home or at a cafe. They make the best roast chicken! Served with some hot pomme frites (french fries). Mmmmm yummy. And yes they use a lot of sauce, but it's not heavy like they make it here. Some nice poached fish with a light lemon sauce and sauteed potatoes was one of the best home cooked meals I had there.

But one of the best parts of it, is you can eat all you want and anything you want and not gain weight cause of the lifestyle. C'est la vie!

No I do not,

The best foods in the world to me are the foods that I grew up with, comfort foods that bring me back to a time when life was a lot simpler.

Foods such as:

Fried Chicken (homade)

Beef Stew

Corn on the Cob

Chicken and Dumplings

Sweet Potato Pie

BBQ'd Ribs (homade)

Pulled Pork

BBQ Chicken

Greens

Macaroni and Cheese (homeade, baked)

Pound Cake

These to me are comfort food and in my opinion the best in the world.

French food is pretty good, though not the best in my opinion.

But we all have our different likes and dislikes.

I particularly love Italian and Greek food :D

well i like some french food but my favorite is italian because i love chicken Alfredo. yum =]
